I have a question about up2date. I recently noticed that the most recent version of OpenSSL available on their website was version 0.9.7c (which purportedly contains important bugfixes) but the most recent version available on RHN was version 0.9.7a. Same thing with BIND (version 9.2.2 on their website and version 9.2.1 on RHN). Is this bad? Should I be updating my system from the product websites and not using RHN? Doesn't this defeat the purpose of up2date?
