I can fsck.ext4 /dev/sdan while the compute is up readonly where "n" is a variety of partitions. Except for /dev/sda6. I am assuming that this partition contains the Volume group of / and swap. lvdisplay, vgdisplay and pvdisplay give me the error message files base locking initialization failed.
