Ouch! You NEED to back up.

And given what you've just said, that worries me ...

mdadm is good at reading any array, but BIOSes are buggy, they do weird
things, etc etc. I most definitely would NOT trust one mobo to read
another mobo's array.

Chances are you'll be fine. You might just be the unlucky one who isn't.
