One more newbee question:

I have inherited the administration of an existing system.

Point of worry: The raid 1 array is defined both in the MB Bios, and with mdadm.

If I change the MB, and dont want to loos the data, do I need to keep the BIOS-defined array, or can I just rely on mdadm ?

Cheers,

Ron.
