mdadm RAID10 configuration - performance

Hi,

I want to configure a mdadm RAID10 in Fedora 29. It will use 8 SAS
disks. It will be used mostly for sequential reading and writing of
big files.
In theory I would obtain 8X sequential read performance and 4X
sequential write performance (where X is the performance of each
individual disk)

1- Can you suggest a recommended configuration for mdadm (layout,
chunk size, etc.) to obtain approximately obtain the expected
performance?
Any other recommended configuration apart from mdadm ?
2- What tool do you suggest to measure IOPS and throughput?

Thanks!
