I considered that, but actually - we do not really know how much is enough. Array might stay clean for a long time if it is under heavy I/O. Also - waiting for old mdmon to exit seems to be better than having two mdmons managing one array. Let me know if you agree. If still not - I will post another patch with runs limited to some number.
