I've found some problems in patches you sent, so I've decided to send my comments in 2 parts. 1st. Changes/workarounds needed to make OLCE workable (some workarounds, as there are 2 possible ways of changes). 2nd. Changes for reshape restart that I think are requires (when I'll send first part I'll go with this) More I'll describe in covers or/and patch descriptions.
