if you configured mdadm correctly, you will have no problem :) hint echo DEVICE partitions >> /etc/mdadm.conf mdadm -Esc partitions | grep ARRAY>> /etc/mdadm.conf
All md partitions are of type fd (Linux raid autodetect).
