Building a raid volume with an external 4-disk s-ata cabinet...

Hi,

I ran out of physical space in my little home server and want to add more
disks to my Raid-5 array. I saw the possibility of buying an external
cabinet like a 3ware rdc-400-SATA. I'd want to raid my current 4 200GB disks
with the 4 new ones into a 8 disk RAID-5 array.

However, I wondered how would my raid behave if the power to the external
cabinet would fail and 4 disks would dissappear at once? Would this give a
higher chance of corruption then having all disks in the same cabinet and
fail all att the same time?

Alwin
