Thanks for this.

For myself, I have not had a chance to look at the raid code in 2.5
yet.  It was badly messed up (as you would expect) by the bio
re-write, and will need a lot of TLC to get it working again.
I gather than Ingo has done some work but there is much more to do (I
don't thing raid5 even compiles currently).  I do plan to look at it
one day soon, but there is so much else to do ....
