[ANNOUNCE] paprefs 1.2

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hey everyone, a new paprefs version became available just now! It's not
that different from the old version, though, but you (especially distro
packagers) should upgrade soon in order to keep paprefs working with
new PulseAudio versions. This is the new stuff in version 1.2:

* Compatibility with the upcoming PulseAudio version 16.0. PulseAudio
will adjust its module paths, and since paprefs checks what modules are
installed by looking for them in the file system, old paprefs versions
won't work with the new PulseAudio version. paprefs 1.2 will work with
both old and new PulseAudio versions.

* A fix for a crash that would happen when trying to install missing
PulseAudio modules from paprefs.

* Translation updates and new translations for Galician, Kazakh,
Korean, Lithuanian, Norwegian Nynorsk and Sinhala.
