Hi, chaining sinks, sources, streams and applications creates a chain of superfluos volume-controls baffling the users (e.g. Rhythmbox -> rtp-send -> rtp-recv -> null-sink -> pacat = 5x volume control). Users usually change the volume on all volume-controls in a chain resulting in completely wrong volumes. PACtl can be used to set the volume of sinks, sources, streams and applications. Is there any way to lock the volume (e.g. 0 dB) and hide the volume-control sliders in applications like PAVUControl? -- Best regards, Renne
