[PATCH 08/10] build-sys: Use AX_TLS macro from autoconf archive

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

It has no new functionality over the existing macro that is relevant for
us, but it is good to have use a macro with a clearly defined upstream.

+# SYNOPSIS
+#
+# AX_TLS([action-if-found], [action-if-not-found])
+#
+# DESCRIPTION
+#
+# Provides a test for the compiler support of thread local storage (TLS)
+# extensions. Defines TLS if it is found. Currently knows about GCC/ICC
+# and MSVC. I think SunPro uses the same as GCC, and Borland apparently
+# supports either.
