Hi, A few days ago I could use Skype normally. Today the microphone is not working. The video is working and I can see and hear the person I'm calling. The Skype sound test is negative. Pulseaudio manager seems to think that my webcam is my audio input. It doesn't seem to want to recognise the microphone on the headset. Could somebody please give me a few clues as where to look for this problem. According to synaptic, all pulseaudio packages are up to date. Thanks, Rob Output of uname -a Linux roblaptop 2.6.38-2-686 #1 SMP Sun May 8 14:49:45 UTC 2011 i686 GNU/Linux Output of lsusb Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 006 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 007 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 006 Device 005: ID 15ca:00c3 Textech International Ltd.
