Just as an update, I see following when invoking the server, N: alsa-util.c: Disabling timer-based scheduling because high-resolution timers are not available from the kernel. How will this affect the system? I also experienced a strange behaviour. When invoking two gst launches with pulsesink, pulseaudio server shutdown. -Rgds Vallabha On Mon, Jul 25, 2011 at 3:45 PM, Vallabha Hampiholi <vallabha.pa@ googlemail.com> wrote: > Dear Experts, > > What is PulseAudio's requirements from a system timer perspective? > > cat /proc/timer_list > > gives me following information.
