[PATCH 3/4] alsa-mixer: Do not 'unify' mixer paths.

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Unification is really just a 'lowest common denominator' system. If any
paths do not support volume, mute or decibels, then mark them all as not
having them.

This was done because of the flags set on sinks that dictate if it supports
h/w volume etc. could not be changed after the sink was created. As these
flags had very little purpose, they have now been removed and the mixer
path is fully reinit'ed on port changes and thus we no longer need to do
this unification.
