Note that the patch above is against udev, the patch you mentioned is
against PA.

53b046d requires 642c69be at least. If those two apply fine and
compile then you should be able to backport them. They are after all
pretty self contained.

My plan is to roll 0.9.20 as an update for 0.9.19 with a couple of
bugfixes (including this VM fix) shortly after F12 is out.
