First file play through Pulse audio

No this is not on USB. I am writing a new ALSA driver for a new hardware and when I play through pulse audio, first time after reboot, I get a hush noise (empty buffers?).

Can you please give some clue if pulse audio is sending it or is there anything else you think is going wrong. This happens only for the first file after reboot and not for subsequent files.

Thanks
Harsha

Is that on USB? This is actually borkage in the USB audio driver.
