This has been on my todo list for quite a while and has already been
requested multiple times. 

This stuff is not trivial, because sound card crystals usually deviate
and thus the stream data needs continuous adaptive resampling. We
already have something similar in module-combine, but due to the
current changes in our core its not worth it to port to over just yet.

To guarantee optimal latency this should be done as a module for the
PA daemon.
