Re: iOS 10 problems

I do not use ipjsua but I use the pjsip telnet api with no problems in iOS10. Some intranets might block direct traffic between computers but if a iOS9 device works fine in the same network I guess that is not the case.

Also, do pay attention to that iOS10 does not permit any background activity at all so you need to have the app in foreground when trying to connect, this was not necessary in iOS9.

Subject: [pjsip] iOS 10 problems

Hi,

I'm having problem with running the pjsua sample program on iOS 10.
this "ipjsua" compiles fine in Xcode 8, targeting SDK 10.0, and when run,
shows the message on iPhone: "telnet to 192.168.xx.xx:2323".

But when I telnet to it from a Terminal on a Mac, the session gets stuck at
"Trying 192.168.xx.xx...", and then timed out.

This ipjsua runs fine on iOS 9.3.5.  It only has problem with iOS 10.
I'm wondering if it has something to do with the networking settings in 10.

thanks

Roger
