Call Quality

Hi Varun,
I work with Sharad. I raised the same query but nobody responded to it.?The other party is on a fixed GSM network. They are not on using a Vopi App.
Please can clarify how we can check which codec is getting selected?
Also we are experience a delay when talking. E.g we say something. There is a delay of approximately 1 or 2 seconds before the other party hears it and vice versa.
Any ideas how to eliminate this problem too?

Hi Sharad,
Can you check from SDP, which Codec is getting Selected (under WiFi or Data)? Is the other party also a VoIP App (PJSIP or something else) or a PSTN#?
regards,

Hi,
When making a call, via sip the caller can hear the other party but the other party can't hear the caller clearly. The voice is constantly breaking. The result is the same from wifi and data. I am calling a mobile number from my PJSIP VOIP app.
My media settings are following,?
1) Clock rate is set to Auto2) I have selected 2 Fast Codec's PCMU 8kHz and PCMA 8 KHz. For Slow, i have selected SILK 8 khz, GSM 8 KHZ, PCMU 8KHZ and PCMA 8KHZ

Please help.
Thanks and Regards,Sharad
