Missing TX packets from arm-ebi platform with pjsua

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

We have problems making phonecalls from our embedded platform to another
device on the same platform or to a x86-based system using pjsua/simple.
Our platform is arm based and compiled with hardfloat support (optimized
for Cortex-A8, using NEON tags).

The pjsip-version that we cross-compiled is 2.1.0, the same version is
used for the shipped pjsua/simple test binaries. Now we have problems when
initiating a call from the arm-based system because the demo app sometimes
doesn't send TX packets to our remote system, independently of which
remote platform we are calling to (i.e x86 or another arm based system).

Attached you will find 2 logfiles, one of them shows the normal
communication, the other one shows that we don't send TX packets from the
sender side.

Does anybody have an Idea why this is happening?

We are not behind a firewall, have no routers or NAT in use between the
devices, just one switch in a island-based LAN, so the connection is more
or less direct.
We use --no-vad to make sure silence detection is not disturbing us.
We use PCMA codec with 8000hz sampling rate.

The connection establishment works always fine (SIP handshake), but no RTP
packets are sent from the initiator side. Interestingly, this device can
accept incoming connections from another system and the RTP transfer
works, but if itself initiates the connection, it's not always working.

Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks

Janek
