using pjsip

I want to create an application using pjsip stack.
All needed from PJSIP libs are just the SIP stack functionality and not
the media applications.

I have installed pjsip as mentioned at site by disabling all media
options.
When I try to run sample applications from pjsip sample apps it produces
core dump.

Is there any simple way by which I can just use the minimal SIP
functionalities(e.g parsing sip messages and creating new one) from pjsip.
