The 1.x version line is what we call "stable". Not only stability
wise, but more so features wise, which means that we will try hard not
to add any new features to it. This version line is intended for
people who already have products out there and are only interested
with bug fixes to the software. This version will also "expire" in
6-12 months.

The 2.x version line on the other hand will be the main, full blown
version of pjsip that we're going to develop and use for years to come
(if we're around that long that is!). It will contain both bug fixes
and new features as well. If you're starting a new project, this will
be the best version to use.
