And we use the Voice Processing I/O unit, doc: http://developer.apple.com/iphone/library/documentation/Audio/Conceptual/AudioUnitLoadingGuide_iPhoneOS/System-SuppliedAudioUnitsiniPhoneOS/System-SuppliedAudioUnitsiniPhoneOS.html), which has built-in echo suppressor. You can try reading the setting PJMEDIA_AUD_DEV_CAP_EC to confirm whether the coreaudio is indeed using Voice Processing IO unit.
