PjSUA on Ubuntu 9.04

If it helps, here are the settings on my Ubuntu 08.10, running on a
VirtualBox emulator under Vista32. Audio basically works, but quality
is not so good (some stuttering), understandably since it's an
emulator.

System -> Preferences -> Sound dialog:
   Sound Events
        Sound Playback: autodetect
   Music and Movies
        Sound Playback: autodetect
   Audio Conferencing
        Sound Playback: autodetect
Sound Capture: Intel 82801AA-ICH with STAC9700......... - MIC ADC (ALSA)
   Default Mixer Tracks
        Device: Intel 82801AA-ICH (Alsa Mixer)
        PCM (from the list box)

On the volume conrol (doubleclick speaker icon on top right corner of
the desktop):
   Playback tab:
Master, PCM, Microphone: all up and not muted
   Recording tab:
Capture: 100% up (interestingly the mic icon looks to be
crossed/disabled, but it doesn't seem to cause the mic to get muted)
   Switches tab:
      Microphone capture: checked
      Mic boost: checked
   Options tab:
       Mic Select: Mic1

Apart from that, I may have changed something else but couldn't remember it.

Cheers
 Benny
