ipodsound.c compatibility

Hmm. Is there any particular step required to initialize the driver?
When I run the code it just seems to ignore it and claim it cant find
an audio device. With 0.9 it 'just works' (with strings attached...
the drivers a mess and I'm slowly repairing it to work with 3.0
firmware) but 1.0 onwards doesnt seem to acknowledge it, although
strings tells me it is being linked into the binary.
