Symbian_Sound_APS.cpp confusion

Sounds really cool. Any idea when can be first update on this?

Hi,

Yes, it still needs codec. Existing APS wrapper doesn't really use
APS/hardware codecs, basically it works with PCM only, it's using
G.711 since APS doesn't support PCM, that's why there is ulaw/alaw
conversion in it.

If you need to make use of APS/hardware codecs, there is an on-going
project called APS-direct, stay tune :)
