Hi, The distortion is about signal saturation, since pjmedia G.722 decoder amplifies the output (while the encoder deamplify it). It seems that "wbdemo at conf.zipdx.com" & other SIP phones G.722 behave differently, they don't do amplifying (in decoder) and deamplifying (in encoder) the original signal, as pjmedia G.722 did (please see http://trac.pjsip.org/repos/ticket/658).
