PJSIP 0.8 : Wrong NAT type detected

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I have been using PJSIP version 0.8 in a demo softphone application for quite a while and recently started using its NAT callbacks to check the type of NAT detected by PJNATH.

I observed that often it reports NAT type as Symmetric, even though the NAT type (as checked using WinStun) is Restricted or Port Restricted. However this issue is intermittent; mostly the correct NAT is reported.

Is it a known issue in 0.8 which has been fixed in some later version?

Regards
Girish
