Hi Aled I already faced this problem but I fix it with including path of DirectX SDK path in to Visual Studio 2005 Using As follows 1 got to VS 2005 "tools" select "options" 2 then expand "Projects and Solutions" 3 after that select "VC++ Directories" 4 select "Include Files" with drop down 5 make new entry and browse DirectX SDK path Like " C:\Program Files\Microsoft DirectX SDK (March 2008)\Include" Check it for final Now time to include lib files 6 select "Library Files" with drop down 7 make new entry and browse DirectX SDK path for Library Files Like "C:\Program Files\Microsoft DirectX SDK (March 2008)\Lib\x86" Check it for final Click ok That's it I hope it should work for you!
