Mic Audio Quality Issue on Vista

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

First of all thank you for the support that I got from my previous email.
By getting the latest version from svn, pjmedia no longer crashes when
called. I have another concern about the audio quality. Based on our
users, the mic audio going to the other end (pstn landline) is chappy but
the audio quality coming from pstn line to the softphone is great. Maybe
you have some tips on how to tweak the settings of pjsip. By the way, below
is the actual email of my user.

Thanks in advance.

Rens,

We've tested out the softphone. Initially it wasn't work because Peter
might not uninstall before installing new one. However, when we tried 2nd
time, I uninstall everything, delete the folder and install use "Run as
Administrator". It works after 2nd installation. However, we found the
quality is crapy on mic. The Mic we uses actually works fine and we tested
out using recorder, but when we test on the softphone, it sounds crapy on
actual phone. When we talk on actual phone and hear on softphone, it sounds
pretty good, but when we talk on softphone and listen on actual phone, it
very sounds crepy. It is hard to listen to a word.
