pj_thread_this: Assertion- failed.

Hi 

This is suresh i am geting this error while i am creating thred 
PjThread: ../src/pj/os_core_unix.c:519: pj_thread_this: Assertion `!"Calling pjlib from unknown/external thread. You must " "register external threads with pj_thread_register() " "before calling any pjlib functions."' failed.
Aborted

please gide me how to use threads
