How to parse URI for user

Benny, et al,
How does one get the "user" part of the sip URI (sip:user at domain.com). The sip_uri structure only supports the following api's;
"pjsip_uri_get_schema" which gives only the scheme "sip" and "pjsip_uri_print" which gives the whole uri-string "<sip:user at domain.com>"
Appreciate your help.

Regards,
Senthil.
