Usually that is done by generating dynamically a single image using the GD extension. You may want to take a look at this forms generation class to perform that kind of validation. It generates an image with a random text and a noise image to make the text a little fuzzy and harder to crack by robots. Here is a screenshot of the text: http://www.phpclasses.org/browse/file/8244.html Take a look at the test_captcha_input.php example script to learn how the class can simplify this task for you using this plug-in: http://www.phpclasses.org/formsgeneration -- Regards, Manuel Lemos Metastorage - Data object relational mapping layer generator http://www.metastorage.net/ PHP Classes - Free ready to use OOP components written in PHP http://www.phpclasses.org/ -- PHP Database Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
