Re: timestamp

on echoing $timestamp i m getting "Fri Jan 28 19:53:09 2005" but on
echoing $date i m getting 1970-01-01.  
also i m getting full info. by phpinfo()

i m using php 4.2.2 , apache 2.0 and rad hat 9.
