instead of 'localhost' use the ip address of the server

Hi there everyone,
I have written a program in PHP with MySQL as the DB backend, It works great
but I need to be able to connect to a remote MySQL DB server for an Updates
system I?ve written, how do I connect to a remote MySQL server with PHP?
I?ve only ever done it with localhost.
