I am not a lawyer and have no background in the legal profession, what
follows is my opinion only.

If they're "converting it", then it's your property and they need to
pay you for it. Even if they're just using your idea, they should be
compensating you as they hadn't thought of it themselves. But you will
have to contact a lawyer and sue them if you can't get them to pay you
yourself.

As for the MS weenies, they should be worrying about their Winows
servers being hacked much more than using PHP. PHP is proven stable
and secure. If there are language-level security vulnerabilities, they
are patched quickly. You just have to update, just like with Windows
and IIS. They really don't have a leg to stand on abotu security.

The vast majority of security problems arise from bad application
design or coding. It's far more likely IMHO that the person converting
your PHP scripts to ASP would introduce security vulnerabilities. But
then again, this is all my opinion.
