AFAIK, there aren't any efforts to create Firebird PHP module, so it seems pretty "fair game to attack".
It's not an area of software I really wanted to go, but if needs must.
It will be more productive than windging at Mozilla over their use of Firebird for another web tool <g>
I suppose I need to start at the PHP source code.
