Use the Avast Home Anti-Virus (www.avast.com), you can download the updates there too in Downloads/Updates. Install the anti-virus in "Safe Mode", affter intalling double click in the update file, then open the Avast A.V., in the registration dialog click "demo", click in the eject and choose "schedule scan in the boot".
