If: 1. The mail usually sends 2. It suddenly stops sending 3. Restarting IIS resolves the problem Then you have 2 probable causes: 1. IIS is crashing all by itself, or set up improperly, or there are any of a number of issues with your server setup. 2. Your code is causing a problem with IIS that is accumulating over time. Because you haven't provided any code, all we can do is guess.
