Since php 5.0.0 was released in 13 July 2004, we migth assume the code was written on php5. But to know which php version was used is tricky. See the style for using predifined variables like $_POST or $HTTP_POST_VARS, $_SERVER or $HTTP_SERVER_VARS, session_register() or $_SESSION.
