Re: rename and copy recursive for directories?

Miscommunication frequently occurs when words like they and these are used without clarification.

It might help if you explain what you need to do. Do you need to create a new directory then copy all contents of another directory and its sub-directories to the new directory?

Hello;
I have looked at manual entries for rename and copy but
I don't see that they will work recursively for renaming or
copying directories with contents.

Do these work recursively for directories when a directory
is copied or renamed to a new directory?
