But http://3v4l.org/SJdGu does file like just that?
It's not the only place where one has had to add extra local variables
to get around new warning/errors in PHP5.

We do need to document this sort of thing properly to advise where a
tidy up in PHP7 will break something in PHP5, Almost needs a comment?

While BC breaks should be kept to a minimum between PhP5->PHP7, I can
see a lot of potential black holes where PHP7 facilities will stop ode
also running on PHP5. That is to be expected, but a good crib sheet will
be essential?
