I'm trying to install PHP 5.6.8 on AIX 7.1 running WAS 8.5.5.4. I can get the configure to work, sort of. I'm a little concerned about the bison version. That may be the issue. I believe you want 1.28 , 1.35, 1.75, but we have 3.0. There is a warning during the configuration but it completes successfully. I saw one thread where the bison version shouldn't matter. I'm also concerned about re2c-0.14.2-1 version. Based upon the results below should I just plan on down grading them? I can provide more details if needed. # configure --with-apxs2=3D/usr/IBM/HTTPServer/bin/apxs Completes successfully However when compiling I get: # make /bin/sh /lawson/thirdParty/PHP/z/php-5.6.8/libtool --silent --preserve-dup-= deps --mode=3Dcompile cc -qlanglvl=3Dextc89 -Iext/date/lib -D HAVE_TIMELIB_CONFI= G_H=3D1 -Ie xt/date/ -I/lawson/thirdParty/PHP/z/php-5.6.8/ext/date/ -DPHP_ATOM_INC -I/l= awson /thirdParty/PHP/z/php-5.6.8/include -I/lawson/thirdParty/PHP/z/php-5.6.8/ma= in -I /lawson/thirdParty/PHP/z/php-5.6.8 -I/lawson/thirdParty/PHP/z/php-5.6.8/ext= /date /lib -I/lawson/thirdParty/PHP/z/php-5.6.8/ext/ereg/regex -I/opt/freeware/in= clude /libxml2 -I/lawson/thirdParty/PHP/z/php-5.6.8/ext/sqlite3/libsqlite -I/laws= on/th irdParty/PHP/z/php-5.6.8/TSRM -I/lawson/thirdParty/PHP/z/php-5.6.8/Zend -D= _THRE AD_SAFE -I/usr/include -g -DZTS -c /lawson/thirdParty/PHP/z/php-5.6.8/ext= /date /lib/interval.c -o ext/date/lib/interval.lo Makefile:515: recipe for target 'ext/date/lib/interval.lo' failed Information Services 220 Campus Blvd, Suite 320 Winchester, VA 22601 W:540 536-3213 C:540 532-8309 F:540 536-8989 dvann2@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:dvann2@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
