I am searching an IDE for php and web development, my options are Aptana or Eclipse+PDT. What is your opinion?
I'm using Eclipse with PHPEclipse but PDT is probably just as good nowadays. PHPEclipse needs a few updates to handle some of the 'new features' in PHP.
The advantage of Eclipse is that ALL of my development work is done in the one IDE, so I can play with C/C++, Python, javascript and even occasionally Java without having to switch. It also runs transparently on both Linux and Windows platforms which I have to support ...
Need to fire up the java side again and have a look at fixing PHPEclipse ;) -- Lester Caine - G8HFL ----------------------------- Contact - http://lsces.co.uk/wiki/?page=contact L.S.Caine Electronic Services - http://lsces.co.uk EnquirySolve - http://enquirysolve.com/ Model Engineers Digital Workshop - http://medw.co.uk// Firebird - http://www.firebirdsql.org/index.php -- PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
