I am in a bit of a pickle, or is that PECL? I need to use either mime_content_type or FileInfo to get the mime type of a file that is dumped into the system via email. Now that is the easy part, where the hard part comes in is that a commercial host that I use will do neither reason being that mime_content_type is deprecated, and that FileInfo is "unstable" in PECL only :/ Anyone got a workaround on this? I *really* don't feel like writing a zillion lines of code to get arbitrary mimetypes out that will only be used a little while and to replace 1 and 2 lines of code respectively. --Paul -- ------------------------------------------------------------. | Chisimba PHP5 Framework - http://avoir.uwc.ac.za | :------------------------------------------------------------:
