Casey -- nope. the include statement is being issues from the parent page. both files are in the same directory. Nitsan -- the problem is apps like phpMyAdmin are littered with include("./file.inc.php"); i'd have to replace all those to use full paths. it's not a good idea from a servicability statement anyways. thanks!
