i can vouch. postfix rocks. i send it non-stop 30,000+ emails at a time (a loop from a databasethat does a popen("/usr/sbin/sendmail") on the local machine (alsopostfix) which then relays it to my actual public smtp server (runningpostfix) - and it just throws it all into the queue and chews on thatfor a while...
