How are you attempting to create the file? What do your PHP settings allow and disallow? Do you mean ".... directory on the same server" or that you're magically bouncing to a different, random server every time you try to create a file? Can you provide the code that you're trying to use to create the file? Are you getting any errors? -- Daniel P.
